IACREOT is very pleased to announce a George Washington University course available ONLINE this spring.
These classes are available to IACREOT Members only.
The 4-step process prior to participating in the online classes:
1. GWU will create Special Use courses in their Blackboard online learning platform.
2. IACREOT members will sign-up for classes and pay the $100 course fee, in advance.
3. IACREOT will send GWU the names and email addresses of those who have sign-up for the class and GWU will enter them into the Blackboard system.
4. GWU will then send class participants email messages confirming their admittance to the course and giving them instructions on how to proceed.
AVAILABLE ONLY: Monday, October 28, 2013-Friday, November 8, 2013.
"Succeeding in the Digital Era" with Dr. Maureen Brown will have 3 hours of teaching content and experiences. Students can complete the course within the 2 week time frame and will be required to pass a test that will be administered by Dr. Brown via Blackboard.
Information technology has proven to be an important support structure in today's organization. Despite advances, challenges continue to thwart the gains. This course provides insights into the advantages that IT can offer. Additionally, it examines how to assess organizational needs, typical performance gains, and best practices for achieving successful implementation efforts. Finally, the course will focus on the challenges organizations often experience and to deal effectively with these challenges.
