Conference Update: By-Law Proposals correction to mailer. Article IX.
“Redirect our Energy, Revitalize our World” is the theme for the 38th year of the International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers. We believe that IACREOT has much to offer our members in the way of professional education, networking opportunities with other professionals in our fields of service, and the very best trade show of new technology.
As we are all forced to work with less while still meeting higher demands for our services, it is important to have IACREOT as a resource. Members can expect more communications, more access to updated information, a commitment to presenting the most current topics/issues facing us in our CCPAP trainings and the educational sessions at our Annual Conference and a focus on your time and finances.
Welcome to our new and interactive website. If you are interested in joining IACREOT, our membership application is now online and you can pay online. All members receive a monthly electronic newsletter with the most up-to-date information from Division Directors, upcoming events, success stories and opportunities. Past eNewsletters are there for review on our website. If you have a specific operational question that you want input on by fellow professionals, send the question to our Executive Director for distribution. You’ll be surprised at how resourceful and helpful our members can be.
No year is ever complete without the Annual Conference and this year is no exception. We will be in the Great Northwest in the City of Spokane, Washington. Mark your calendar now to be in Spokane this July 7 through 11th. Our Call to Conference for the 38th Annual Conference is available for your review. You will find the agenda for the conference, details on each division’s educational programs, and information on transportation, hotels and what to pack. You can register online today.
Join our association as a first timer or renew your membership today--the rewards are many--for you as an individual, your office and the community you serve!
Sincerely,
Bill Cowles
IACREOT President
